| So, my first antenna attempt is the homebrew Yagi from the summer edition of On the Air, and being a newbie, I cannot figure out how to separate the braided outer shield from the inner core of the coax, to solder them to the driven element. Do I literally have to unbraid it, or is there something I'm missing...I need to separate the 2 for about 4 inches, per the photo on pg 25. TIA for the help. | ||
