| How long til the New XW-2 sats are supported by LoTW. I tried to log some qso's tonight and found out they are not supported? | ||

| Kind of short notice but I'm up for a new vanity call sign that will be awarded tomorrow morning. I'm missing the great state of Kentucky for my phone WAS. | I recently got my Extra ticket and I'm looking to upgrade to a new rig. I'm currently using a FT-897D in the shack. It is a fine rig but I would love to have a dedicated base rig and use the FT-897D for portable and mobile ops. As far as antennas I have an Alpha Delta DX-LB PLUS, 43' vertical, and a 5 Element 6 meter LFA yagi. , I have been looking at the FT-DX 3000, Elecraft KS3 and the Flex 6300. FT-DX 3000 ~ $2200 - Good all around rig with nice filtering. - Internal ATU - lots of bells and whistles built in. USB, CW decoder etc... Elecraft KS3 ~$2900 - great reputation following and support. - Quality RX/TX - Pricey when adding options Flex 6300 ~$2500 - dual receiver channels and Panadapters - Remote operating LAN, future WAN a big plus. - Small foot print. I would love to hear what everyone thinks of these 3 or alternatives is the mid priced range ($2000-3000) Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom! |
