New election held August 8, 2023. Only 3 members were present. Election results are Brett, K2BKW remains President/ Vice- President and Jerry, KE2CK remains secretary. Currently we still have 7 members on record, however 3 members live out of state.

Our efforts to place a repeater on our Municipal Utilities Aurthority water tower looks promising for after Jan. 1 2024. In addition we have met with local medical center management in July and discussed the possibility of installing a repeater on the medical center. In addition KE2CK has offered to trach Technician licensing classes for medical center personnel wishing to obtain their Amateur License. We are currently waiting to confirm a date when we will have access to the medical center to do a site survey.

Once again KE2CK has continued to indicate his offer is still open if either project mentioned above is approved, he will take steps to donate one of his UHF repeaters and re-coordinate it it under the club call sign. He also indicated he will donate an antenna, hardline, if required.

We are once again keeping our fingers crossed regarding both proposed projects.

Basic club interests are repeaters, entry level training & mentoring, HF operations, SkyWarn activities and net through Cumberland County OEM.
