Contest Objective: For Amateurs worldwide to exchange information with W/VE amateurs on 160-meter CW.

DX-to-DX QSOs do not count for contest credit. Stations located in overseas and non-contiguous U.S. Territories may be worked by DX stations. This includes Alaska KL7, the Caribbean US possessions KP1-KP5, and all of the Pacific Ocean territories KH0-KH9, including Hawaii KH6. These stations can work BOTH domestic stations (US and VE) as well as DX stations around the world.

Make sure your logging software is up to date before the contest to be sure it will accept these QSOs.

Dates: First full weekend in December (GO HERE for date{s})

Contest Period: Begins 2200 UTC Friday, ends 1559 UTC Sunday. This is a forty-two hour period with no time limitation.

Multipliers: There are no changes to the list of 85 multipliers (as used in Sweepstakes and Field Day).  Canadian stations located in Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut should continue to send TER (Territories) as their section.

Log Submission Deadline:

Logs are due within SEVEN (7) days after the event is over. Logs may only be submitted electronically, online, via our web app at contest-log-submission.arrl.org/

Logs that have been submitted electronically are listed on the Logs Received page. Click the contest name to see a list of submitted logs sorted by call sign or club name.

Online Log Submission is required - Cabrillo formatted logs must be uploaded via our web app at contest-log-submission.arrl.org.  See note that follows:

Awards:

Certificates will be awarded to the top-scoring QRP, low-power and high-power single-operator stations and low-power and high-power single-operator unlimited stations in each ARRL/RAC Section and DXCC country and to the top-scoring Multioperator High Power and Multioperator Low Power stations in each ARRL Division and continent. Printable certificates will be downloadable from contests.arrl.org/certificates.php.
