The Space Coast Amateur Radio Society was established in 2024. We are a comprehensive amateur radio club primarily focused on public service and emergency communications in the Central Brevard County area. Our activities include weekly nets on both DMR and analog FM Voice using the County EOC owned repeaters, monthly breakfasts at various restaurants across central Brevard, monthly Parks on the Air (POTA) / Get on the Air opportunities (typically following breakfast), and monthly membership meetings featuring ham radio-related training.

We support Brevard County Parks and Recreation during their spring family campout, the Brevard County Emergency Operation Center during hurricane or other activations requiring auxiliary communications support, and serve as a Weather Ready Ambassador with the National Weather Service. Furthermore, we assist Salvation Army Emergency Services, are an associate member of the Florida Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), and are affiliated with the ARRL. We also offer monthly FREE FCC examinations.
