The Palm Bay Amateur Radio Club, Inc. ( A Florida not for profit corporation) was formed by the former members of the Palm Bay Police VCOP Disaster Communications Services (K4DCS) and has assumed its functions and repeater assets.

Our members represent a broad diversity of interests including DXing, contesting, ARES participation, and the maintenance of the repeater and members' rigs.

We meet at the New Hope Lutheran Church School on the first Monday of every month at 1800 Local. The school is located at 870 Hollywood Blvd in West Melbourne FL.

The club conducts a friendly, informal net every Thursday evening at 8 PM local time.  All are invited to check in or monitor.  147.255 MHz, +600 KHz offset, 107.2 Hz tone.  After the net, we usually switch to Fusion mode to continue discussions.

We are actively preparing for ARRL Field Day at the Fisherman's Landing Park Pavilion in Grant FL. We participated from there last year, racked up a reasonalble score and had a great time. All interested in ham radio are cordially invited to attend our meetings.
