A meeting was held on November 29, 2021 for the election of officers.  The following is a copy of the minutes:

Meeting Minutes

November 29, 2021

The first meeting of the NWMOERC, held via Zoom, was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by David Jensen, NWMOERC Trustee. The primary purpose of the meeting was the election of officers.

Call to Order:

David Jensen confirmed that the 12 members present constituted a quorum for the election of officers. Bob Singer conducted the meeting. (The current membership list is Attachment 1.)

Items of Business:

1.     Bob Singer proposed to combine the club positions of Secretary and Treasurer. The members voted to combine the positions.

2.     The names of those nominated for the positions were read and votes counted and confirmed. The results were as follows:

President: Bob Singer

Vice-President: Rebecca Woods

Secretary-Treasurer: Denise Farley

3.     Meeting dates, times and locations were discussed. Members decided to hold Zoom meetings for now on the fourth (4^th) Wednesday of odd numbered months. The next meeting is scheduled for January 26, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.

NOTE: Since the fourth Wednesday of November 2022 is the day prior to Thanksgiving, the November 2022 meeting will be on the November 30, 2022.

4.  Other items discussed:

David Jensen brought up the topic of an annual field day. Members agreed that an annual field day should be held. Various venues and dates were discussed with decisions to be made at future meetings.

Ken Anderson proposed future meetings have an educational or instructional topic at least once per quarter. Members agreed this was a good idea. Decisions for dates and topics will be made at future meetings.

Tim Maher asked about rules and bylaws. David Jensen will secure the ARRL club constitution and bylaws for members to review and discuss at the next meeting.

Bob Singer requested the members to recruit additional members for the club as well as getting more ham operators licensed. Tech class meeting times and locations were discussed.

Ryan Jenkins made a motion to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
